We have several programs, which have been refined over time, to best serve the needs of our customers. We specialize in equipping families with the tools, knowledge, and resources to effectively buy, sell, and build homes.
Our Team
Jerome Pemberton Jr. is the owner of Pemberton Home Consulting Group, LLC., a consulting firm designed to aid families in the journey to plan, prepare and purchase their homes. Jerome is a licensed realtor in Texas, whose license is currently held with Around Town Properties. He has over 20 years of experience in the real estate market. Before getting involved in the industry as a realtor, Jerome served as a mortgage loan officer for over 10 years, giving him insight into the field from a variety of perspectives. As a result, Jerome has created the national programs Plan2BuyaHome, ZeroDown.House and AsktheBudget. These programs aim to not only allow families to be better prepared for the purchasing process itself but to further their home ownership success with an improved financial picture, for today and tomorrow. To assist in these objectives, "Dr.J", as many call him, founded the Relentless Money 101 program, a faith-based program that teaches financial literacy. Pemberton is passionate about the holistic health of his client's situation, not just getting them into a house. This led Jerome to also create the non-profit organization, Mastering Your Life, CDC. The purpose of Mastering Your Life is to provide innovative approaches and resources to individuals in the area of financial management, strategic lifespan planning, and personal growth initiatives. To achieve this end, Mastering emphasizes community outreach, education, and STEM-promoting activities for children, youth, and adults who have a desire for economic mobility and wealth-building strategies.
Donnet Swaby is currently a mortgage loan advisor who specializes in down payment assistance options for her clients. She has helped numerous families get into homes utilizing down payment programs. Donnet is the backbone of our ZeroDown.House program. She manages the process of Pemberton Home Consulting Group, LLC and researches programs that best fit her client's needs. She is also responsible for the design and implementation of our nationally renowned AskTheBudget service. Donnet is also an international real estate investor. Her passion lies in helping people with their finances and getting out of debt. Before entering real estate, she served as a compensation specialist with over 20+ years in the financial, consulting, and oil industries.
